In Tower of Fantasy, a banner is a section where players can unlock items and certain characters as they progress in the game.
There are some fixed banners but the developers also release special banners that feature special characters and weapons for a limited time period.
Each of these limited banners requires a different currency than the other events. So the currency is valid only for as long as an event is active.
Tower of Fantasy ‘Nemesis banner’ disappeared ahead of time
Currently, Tower of Fantasy players are facing an issue where the Nemesis character banner disappeared ahead of time (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).
The affected limited special banner is the ‘Forgiveness and Rebirth’ banner that features the SSR weapon ‘Venus’ and the character ‘Nemesis’.
In Tower of Fantasy, players can unlock new playable characters by getting their featured weapon. In Nemesis’ case, players will unlock her as a playable character if they manage to get the SSR weapon ‘Venus’.
However, players who logged in today were surprised when the special banner disappeared even though it was supposed to run for ten more days.
Tower of Fantasy fucked up good. The nemesis banner is gone before the end date of the event. The tokens on the event banner are converted to standard banner tokens. They fucked peoples build up tokens on the event banner.. nice #toweroffantasy

So as some of you may know, nemesis banner was accidentally removed and our currency was converted to black gold. my question is, do we spend that currency before they possibly take it away, or are we screwed if we spend it LMAO this is awkward

Players are also worried about their limited-time tokens, as the Flame Gold that they spent during the banner activities was converted to Black Gold.
The Flame Gold was an event-exclusive currency and could be only used to redeem Nemesis. Whereas Black Gold is a permanent currency that can be used to redeem only the permanent characters.
Issue acknowledged
Fortunately, Tower of Fantasy support has acknowledged this issue and said that they are currently working on a fix. However, they did not provide any ETA for it.
The devs also confirmed that players will be compensated for this issue and that they will receive it within two hours after the issue has been fixed.
Compensation will be sent to your mailbox within 2 hours after the issues have been fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience that may arise as a result of this maintenance. Thank you for your support and understanding!

Unfortunately, we haven’t come across any potential workaround that can temporarily fix this issue. So you’ll have to wait until devs address it.
