Hulu is one of the largest on-demand subscription streaming services with the Walt Disney company as its major stakeholder.
It has an extensive streaming library with thousands of TV series and movies available to its users on multiple devices through the Hulu app.
Hulu app crashing when accessing ‘My Stuff’ on Roku
However, Hulu subscribers are facing an issue where the app is crashing or kicks them out when accessing the ‘My Stuff’ section on Roku (1,2,3,4,5).
This issue arises when selecting the ‘My Stuff’ section on Roku. An initial loading screen shows up but after a few seconds, the app crashes and returns to the main menu.
However, all the other sections like Home, Live, TV, Movies, Sports, and Hubs are working perfectly fine.
This isn’t really a new issue as Hulu app users have been reporting it for the past few months (1,2,3) but still, there is no fix for it.
@hulu_support Please fix your platform immediately. On Roku, attempting to access My Stuff causes the system to immediately return to the Roku main menu. This has been going on for days. If I miss @AEW on Wednesday, I’m gonna lose it. #customerexperience #unacceptable

@hulu_support Via Roku on my LG TV, I can log in. But once I choose My Stuff, it kicks me out of the app. It’s fine via my phone. What’s up?

Some have tried basic troubleshooting methods like updating all the devices and apps, deleting and reinstalling the Hulu app, and restarting the WiFi router but it didn’t rectify the situation.
Official acknowledgment
Hulu Support on Twitter has acknowledged this issue and said that they are currently investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.
Hopefully, the said problem gets resolved soon so that Hulu subscribers can enjoy their favorite content without hassles.
Until then, we will be keeping track of further developments on the matter and let you know as and when we come across more information.
