New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on August 09, 2022) follows:

MultiVersus is one of the most interesting and popular games of the moment. Although its final version is not yet available, many players have been enjoying its open beta for a while now.

MultiVersus is a fighting game whose gameplay is similar to the Smash Bros saga. That is, 1 vs 1 or 2 vs 2 battles in a dynamic level where the main goal is to knock your opponent off the platform.

Just like in the Smash Bros series, MultiVersus battle stages will drop items and power-ups that increase the abilities of the character who grabs it first.

The MultiVersus roster of fighters is made up of some of the most classic Warner Bros characters alongside modern characters. For instance, the battles may pit Batman and Superman against Jake the Dog and Steven Universe.

However, currently many players are facing an issue that directly affects progress. Apparently, MultiVersus is not counting or tracking wins badges for Jake, Finn and Arya.

Social networks like Twitter are full of reports from MultiVersus players about the issue.

Please fix the badge glitches most of my characters that I have mastered wins are set to zero.

In fighting games, players usually have their favorite character. It is with this character that they will seek to master all the movements, get all the achievements and be competitive against other players.

But, a bug is preventing the progress of certain characters as the numbers on wins badges are not increasing after winning battles.

One of the characters experiencing the bug is Jake the Dog, from the Adventure Time show.

Bugged Jake Badge

I maxed Jake first and got his win counter badge. It says 0 wins but I thought that it would just start counting at level 15. I recently got Superman to 15 and unlocked his badge and it’s already showing 42 wins. Anyone else having this issue?

Players using Finn, Jake partner on the same show, are also experiencing the issue.

finn badge says i got 0 wins

i got finn to level 15 now 17 and the badge i got for him says i have 0 wins when that just isn’t true. for some reason it says i have wins with arya even tho i don’t even have her unlocked. is there anyway to fix this?

Arya Stark (from the hit series Game of Thrones) wins badge is also not updating after winning battles.

Arya Stark Badge Bug

It seems to be counting Arya wins as Shaggy wins on the badge. It says I have 103 Arya wins but I don’t have Arya and I have 103 Shaggy wins. My friend has 0 Arya wins counted when we’re both winning the same games and he’s been playing Arya every game.

The expected behavior is for the number on the wings badges to increase as you win, but that’s not happening.

Issue under investigation

MultiVersus developers are already aware of the bug and investigating, but there is no an ETA for a fix yet.

We will update this story once new relevant events emerge on the matter.

Update 1 (August 15)

10:24 am (IST): A game director of MultiVersus has confirmed that this issue will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

Update 2 (August 17)

04:45 pm (IST): According to a MultiVersus game director, the issue with Arya Stark badge has now been resolved.

Arya stark badge is fixed, we might be able to get a fix for the up special through a server-side update, but I’ll have to check and we won’t go through it without additional testing. (Source)
