Here’s the crux of the article in video form:
Tower of Fantasy is another free-to-play open-world action RPG where you can explore the immersive open world and save what is left of humankind.
Published by Level Infinite, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, it is available for PC and on mobile devices globally.
Tower of Fantasy lag during PvP or raids against bosses
But recently, many Tower of Fantasy players are reporting an issue where they experience lag during PvP or raids against bosses (1,2,3,4,5,6,7).
The game is filled with world bosses throughout the map’s various regions. Players experience the lag when they group up and try to take these world bosses down.
Another mode in which players are facing lag is the PvP: Apex League. A player suggests that the issue only occurs if the matchmaking takes longer than 20 seconds.
Due to this, affected players are facing gameplay issues like enemies starting to teleport around, being unable to use a skill, hit an opponent, having health bars suddenly fill up, and so on.
Ever since launch I’ve had my game at high graphics and it’s consistently had 120 fps, but last night randomly the game started lagging and it’s still doing it today. The server I play on isn’t too crowded either. I put my graphics down but there’s still some lag. Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

It was great when PVP first launched at noon today but a few hours in I started see people ice skating and teleporting all over the arena. Its extremely frustrating. At first I thought maybe its me but after running ping test in CMD window, its not. I really hope its people lag switching and it just the servers for pvp lagging.

Some have tried troubleshooting methods like deactivating their anti-virus, restarting internet connection and repairing the game but nothing seems to fix this issue.
Tower of Fantasy players are disappointed as these issues have left the game practically unplayable in those modes.
Issue acknowledged
Fortunately, Tower of Fantasy support didn’t take too long to acknowledge this issue and said that they are currently working on a fix. However, they did not provide any ETA for it.
