New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on August 15, 2022) follows:

The Google Pixel 6A arrived in July as the latest ‘entry-level’ Pixel smartphone. Although it is a mid-range mobile device, it offers the same power and software-features of its more expensive brothers.

The Google Pixel 6a also boasts a very reliable camera system thanks to the image processing of the native Google Camera. So, it is a good alternative for those looking for the best mobile camera in its price range.

That said, having the same software support as the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro can be both a positive and a negative. The negative part comes from the large number of bugs that Pixel 6 users have faced.

Currently, some Google Pixel 6a users are dealing with an issue where they receive the ‘Adaptive Connectivity Services keeps stopping’ error message every time they reboot the phone.

Google Pixel 6a ‘Adaptive Connectivity Services keeps stopping’ error

According to multiple reports, the Google Pixel 6a ‘Adaptive Connectivity Services keeps stopping’ error appears suddenly or every time the user reboots the smartphone.

Odd Pixel 6a behavior

then rebooted again and came up and it’s been acting completely normal for 20 minutes or so now, except this “Adaptive Connectivity Services” service keeps stopping… I cleared data on it, and rebooted, came up again with the Adaptive Connectivity Services keeps stopping warning so I just said close, and it hasn’t come back and it seems to be working normally.

Apparently, not even factory resetting the smartphone helps to solve the problem. So, there currently doesn’t seem to be any workaround that works as a temporary fix.

adaptive connectivity services keeps stopping

Everytime I power on my new Pixel 6a I get the message, “adaptive connectivity services keeps stopping”. I have tried clearing all data but that did not solve the problem. Any suggestions? Thanks.

No official acknowledgment yet

There is still no official acknowledgment of the issue from the Google team yet. However, a Google Product Expert urged affected users to submit related feedback.

“tech admitted that Google has not encountered that error before and has no solution.”

And that is PRECISELY why I said that everyone should contact Pixel Support! Until the problem is PROPERLY reported to them. they can’t fix it!

“Me too” replies here are completely ineffective because they are not seen by the Google team. You should also file feedback reports.

The more feedback Google receives about the bug, the faster they will become aware of its existence and can start working on a fix.

We will update this story once new events arise on the matter.
