Fitbit is one of the most reputed and trusted brands when it comes to health and fitness smartwatches. But lately, it looks like the company is having a hard time fixing several bugs that haunt Versa 3 users.

In the last few days, we have covered various issues affecting Fitbit Versa 3 users. From the firmware update rendering devices unusable to the device counting wrong floors, the issues seem to be unending.

Fitbit Versa 3 owners report that notifications are not working for them even after the app update. According to the company, the update was supposed to fix the notification issue once and for all.

But it looks like the problem is still persistent, with many people still complaining that they cannot receive any notifications on their devices. And the problem is not limited to any app.

Apps like WhatsApp, CNN, Messages, and even call notifications seem to be affected by the issue.

For the past 6 days I have not been getting call alerts or notifications on my Firbit. It has caused me to miss some important messages. As I can’t have my phone on me at all times while at work . Yes it is close just not on me.. also how do you restart the versa 3

I’ve seen many people complain about the syncing issues with the versa 3. I’ve been a part of Fitbit for many years now but starting to get fed up. Got the versa 3 after my original versa decided to stop working right after the warranty ran out. Same issues with this as with my versa, the notifications just don’t work. Worked for the first 3/4 days and since nothing.

I’ve messaged the Fitbit support through Twitter and have been told they’re aware of the issue and working to fix it. It’s always the same issue though and honestly wondering if staying with Fitbit is a good idea or if I’d be better off getting something different. It’s very disappointing.

There are plenty of other related reports from affected users in the Fitbit forum. And the good thing is that Fitbit has acknowledged the issue and said they are working on a fix.

However, the company hasn’t shared any details on when the issue with users not getting notifications will be fixed on the Fitbit Versa 3.

In the meantime, some users have found a workaround that might come in handy.

If you are not getting any notifications on your Fitbit Versa 3, turn off Bluetooth and turn it back on. You will now start getting notifications on your device.
