[Updated] MultiVersus Batman grappling hook bugged or broken for many, issue under investigation
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on August 02, 2022) follows:
MultiVersus, the all-new free-to-play crossplay fighting game has taken over the gaming world by storm. It features some of the most iconic characters like Shaggy, Wonder Woman, Tom and Jerry, and many more.
Every character has their own abilities or special moves that make them unique. One of Batman’s abilities is the infamous grappling hook that lets him grapple onto other characters, deal damage and dodge attacks.
However, it appears that the Batman Grappling hook ability is bugged or not working properly for many MultiVersus players.
everytime i use the grappling hook i get thrown out of the map.
please fix the grappling hook i hate using it then getting sent off the map and losing a game
This is incredibly frustrating for players who use Batman as their in-game character. It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time this issue has been reported.
It was fixed by MultiVersus developers in a past update. But it seems like the grappling hook bug has resurfaced for many players.
Fortunately, the developers are aware of the Batman grappling hook ability being broken and the issue is currently under investigation. However, they did not share an ETA for the fix.
The game team is aware of this issue with Batman’s grapple and it’s currently being investigated.
We hope MultiVersus developers soon find out the root cause of the problem and fix it at the earliest. We’ll keep an eye on this issue and update this article to reflect the latest information.

We think the grapple hook on Batman should be improved when playing online. Let me know if there are any additional issues. #MultiVersus (Source)
