[Updated] COD Warzone 'Dev Error 5476' pops up again after recent update (potential workarounds inside)
Here’s the crux of the article in video form:
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on July 28, 2022) follows:
Call of Duty is one of the best-selling RPG video game franchises that was launched back in 2003.
Since its initial release, Raven Software has released various games in the series including Call of Duty 2, COD: Modern Warfare, and COD: Warzone to name a few.
And if you have been playing COD: Warzone or Modern Warfare for a long time, you must have come across or at least heard of ‘Dev Error 5476’. This error pops up when you try to join multiplayer and Warzone lobbies.
The ‘Dev Error 5476’ has been troubling both COD: Warzone and COD: Modern Warfare players for quite some time now. It initially surfaced more than two years ago, a few months before the launch of COD: Black Ops Cold War.
And while this error eventually got fixed by Infinity Ward, players have been complaining about it from time to time ever since then.
It has been almost a year since Raven Software released a fix for this issue. And it should have resolved this problem once and for all.
However, it appears that the issue has now resurfaced again after the recent update. Many COD: Warzone players are reporting (1, 2, 3) that they are getting ‘Dev Error 5476’ when they try to play the game.
Here are some of the most recent reports:
