New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on June 30, 2022) follows:

Pokemon Go is a successful game based on the Pokemon franchise and developed by Niantic. Since its arrival, it has become one of the most popular in the mobile gaming segment.

Pokemon Go challenges players to catch and train Pokemon. The peculiarity of this game is that the map through which the creatures are spread is based on the real world map.

Through the camera of your smartphone, the Pokemon will appear on the screen moving over the area you are focusing on. Once you find a creature, you can try to catch it or perform other actions.

However, currently Pokemon Go players are facing an issue where Adventure Sync feature is turning off by itself, causing loss of progress.

Pokemon Go Adventure Sync feature turning off by itself

Adventure Sync is a feature that allows you to continuously sync your progress to the game servers.

The steps you take during the day are an important factor for the game. This is one of the aspects that determines the progress you make and the Pokemon you meet along the way.

However, if Adventure Sync is disabled, all progress you make will be lost when you exit the game.

Sadly, Adventure Sync feature is automatically turning off for many Pokemon Go players. Also, this occurs without warning, so affected players are unaware that the game will not save their progress.

Is anyone having trouble with AdventureSync?

I’ve noticed over the past 2 weeks it hasn’t been tracking and it seems to be turning itself off. Asked a few friends and they haven’t had this experience. Wondering if somethings up with my account or if it’s a common problem.

Set up with Machop since it seemed to be the favorite. Ended with just under 900 XL candy. Worth noting that official length of the trail is 2194.6 miles, which is 3,531.86 km. So adventure syncs being crap lost me about 300 km, although could also blame it on poor cell signal and not updating steps.

Also decided to get Dialga as well, since it seemed to be a waste of new stops while hiking. Tried to get best buddy without any walking, but drift and late adventure sync messed with that.
