Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on July 27, 2022) follows:

Developed by Player First Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, MultiVersus is one of the latest free-to-play crossover fighting video games.

The 2v2 title features iconic characters from different universes like Harley Quinn, Finn the Human, Wonder Woman, Jake the Dog, Superman, and even a creature called Reindog.

It also includes unique maps like Batman’s Batcave and Jake and Finn’s Treefort. And as is the case with recently released multiplayer games, MultiVersus is available on all major platforms like PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

However, in the last few days, players have complained about bugs and glitches like ‘Starter Mission not working and Knockback Influence training or tutorial broken.

That said, MultiVersus players are seemingly getting an UE4 fatal error message. While some say it crashes right after they launch the game, others say the error pops up randomly.

Players tried reinstalling the game and restarting the system but these solutions do not seem to help either. You can see in the image below what the MultiVersus UE4 fatal error message looks like.

As it turns out, MultiVersus developers are yet to comment on the UE4 fatal error message problem. Thankfully, we stumbled across some potential workarounds that might help fix the issue.

The first solution involves disabling the Overlay from Steam settings. If this doesn’t help, try turning off Rivatuner and MSI afterburner as these applications often cause compatibility issues.

Players can also try disabling their Anti-Virus temporarily to check if it fixes the problem. You can also try running the game with administrator privileges to see if it helps.

If the issue persists, you can watch the video below for more workarounds.

We hope the aforementioned solutions helped you fix the MutliVersus crashing issue. If we missed out on something, do let us know in the comments down below.
