New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on March 01, 2022) follows:

Google has been the most visited website on the internet for years now. With people performing more than 5.4 billion Google searches every day, the popular search engine accounts for more than 90% of the total market share.

And as is the case with every online service, even Google users are susceptible to bugs and issues.

And now, Google users are reporting that Image search is not loading any results. Many say they are getting an error message saying ‘Looks Like there aren’t any matches for your search’ even if they search for something like animals.

Some say they tried logging out of their Google account and logging back in, changing browsers, and clearing cookies and cache but nothing helps.

Whenever i try to look up any term and go into the Images tab, i just get the message “Looks like there aren’t any matches for your search” regardless of the search term, I’ve tried looking mundane things like “Apple” and “Tree” and i still get this issue, it seems the issue stops persisting when i go incognito or log out of my account, but its an issue that persists on most browsers i’ve tested when i log in (Opera GX, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox) and im not sure what may be causing it, it seems to persist on other devices aswell.

I recently noticed that whenever I google anything at all (literally anything at all) I get no results on the “Images” tab but instead I get the same “Looks like there aren’t any matches for your search” message. This problem also seems to be affecting my general search as I have the same problem for the “All” tab and none of the websites that pop up on the results seem to have any description whatsoever.

Thankfully, a Diamond Product Expert on the Google Search Community forum has shed some light on the matter and said they have escalated the issue for further investigation.

This issue has been referred to the Google Search team for investigation.

Rest assured, we will be keeping an eye out on the matter and update this space as and when we come across more information so stay tuned.
