New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on July 11, 2022) follows:

Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical FPS developed by Ubisoft. It is set in the prolific franchise of games based on the work of writer Tom Clancy.

Unlike previous installments, Rainbow Six Siege is a game totally focused on the online competitive aspect. That is, there is no campaign mode, which was repeated in the latest Rainbow Six Extraction.

Rainbow Six Siege is a game with a very active player community. In fact, although the game originally came out in 2015, it currently even has versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

However, many players are not happy with the current state of Rainbow Six Siege due to the number of cheaters taking advantage of the ELO glitch or exploit, which is causing double ELO and MMR losses to many.

Rainbow Six Siege full of cheaters taking advantage of the ‘ELO glitch or exploit’

According to multiple reports, cheaters have been roaming the game for many days. Currently, many Rainbow Six Siege cheaters are using a popular ELO glitch or exploit to break matches.

Many players feel that the measures taken by Ubisoft against cheaters are not enough. Apparently, there is no permanent penalty for those who take advantage of exploits, so they could do it again.

Orange team benefits from this Elo glitch. If they had won them, they would have gained more than 100 points and I would have lost them. If these players are not banned in 72h we will never play @Rainbow6Gamefed up with cheaters and that they are not sanctioned PERMANENT. Thanks

This is how the glitch works

The Rainbow Six Siege ELO glitch involves using the same account on two consoles at the same time (like PS4 and PS5), causing system confusion and resulting in cheaters getting double ELO and MMR when winning.

Meanwhile, if a player loses against these cheaters, they will lose double MMR and ELO points. The glitch also carries some risk for cheaters, as they will also lose double MMR and ELO if they are defeated.

You have 2 Friends that start a Game.
#1 Friend Acc Name is ABC
#2 Friend Acc Name is XYZ
Once in the Game one of the Friends leave, #2 for example. Now friend #2 joins back in with a PS4 or PS5 (depends what #1 is playing on) with #1 Account. #1 is two times in the game now.

If the Glitchers win they get double the mmr points they normaly get and and if they lose they also lose the double amount. If the normal team wins the get less then their normal mmr points and if they lose the lose the double.
