[Updated] Marauders players report constant crashing or freezing issue, fix already in the works

Original story (published on July 22, 2022) follows:

Marauders is a space pirate multiplayer game set in a sci-fi universe that constantly gets compared to Escape from Tarkov due to its similarities.

It is a hardcore, first-person, looter shooter where you step into the boots of a lawless space pirate and face off against other players in tactical and immersive combat.

However, recent reports from those playing Marauders suggest they are facing a constant crashing issue during matches or during the initial loading screen (1,2,3,4,5)

Just preordered the game and tried playing the beta but the game won’t launch, it loads for about 5 seconds and shuts down what should I do?

alright @PlayMarauders is still as fun as i remember, got some clips coming to you all soon, two crashes so far but we are well aware of it, lets ge tit

I hate it when I find trash loot and extract without any problems, then finding some good stuff I really want to get out, trying to extract, then either the game crashes or “login failed” as I extract is really getting annoying, out of 11 Raids I got 4 crashes where I lost my stuff, please fix this shit.

Official acknowledgment

As it turns out, Marauders developers are aware of the constant crashing issue and are currently investigating it. However, they did not share any ETA on when it will be fixed.

We hope they release an update that resolves the problem since the game is unenjoyable at the moment. As always, we will be updating this space when we come across more information.

04:08 pm (IST): Marauders support has informed players that the beta program has now ended. Therefore, players should now expect a fix for the crashing issue in the stable version.
