[Updated] League of Legends 'Clash rewards' on EUNE missing for players, here's the official word

League of Legends is one of the best MOBA games that are currently available on the market.

Inspired by DOTA, League of Legends is still going strong and is one of the world’s largest esports games.

However, many League of Legends players are facing an issue where they reach the top 3 during the competitive Clash tournament, but don’t earn any rewards (1,2,3,4,5).

Clash tournament is a monthly tournament that started back in April 2018 and continues to this day. It is a competitive game mode where players can form teams of 5 members to compete against other teams.

But it seems that only 1 or none of the team members receive any rewards or orbs for ranking in the top 3.

@RiotSupport Hi me and my friends played clash yesterday and got first place, none of us got a reward so I thought “might just be a bug, il check tomorrow” still nothing, any comments?

As it turns out, the Riot Games team is aware of the issue and is currently investigating it. While no ETA was shared, the game’s Executive Producer confirmed that those affected will be refunded.

01:27 pm (IST): The executive producer of League of Legends has now altered his statement and said that players who didn’t get their Clash rewards and Trophy will definetely receive them.

Previously, he said that gamers will only get a Clash refund. Here’s the complete statement:

Players who didn’t receive their Clash rewards: we are working on fixing that! Apologies I gave the impression we wouldn’t – I was only aware of game start problems not tournament reward issues at that time. We definitely want you to have your Clash rewards and Trophy! (Source)
