If you happen to spend a lot of time on Twitter, you must have heard about Twitter Blue at some point in time.

Like Spotify Premium, Twitter Blue is a monthly subscription service that lets users access premium features offered by the platform like ad-free news, modifying published tweets, and uploading larger and longer videos.

That said, earlier this year, the company rolled out a new feature that let users connect their crypto wallets and show off their NFTs and use them as their profile picture.

Several people quickly jumped on the bandwagon and changed their profile pictures to showcase their digital collections.

But according to Twitter Blue users, it looks like many are unable to change their NFT profile picture (1,2,3,4,5). Reports suggest nothing happens when trying to choose an NFT for their display picture.

As a last resort, users tried restarting their phones and reinstalling the app but that didn’t help either. Below are a few reports from Twitter Blue subscribers who are unable to change their NFT profile picture.

Thankfully, support commented on the matter and said the developers are currently investigating the issue where Twitter Blue subscribers are unable to change their NFT profile picture.

But they did not share any timeframe of when the bug will be fixed.

Sorry for the trouble. Our team is aware of this, and they’re currently looking into it. We’ll reach out if we have any questions.

It is interesting to note that a similar bug surfaced in January this year where many were unable to link their Trezor crypto wallet for NFT profile pictures.

Let’s hope they find out the root cause of the issue and fix it in the coming days. Rest assured, we will be keeping an eye out for more information on the issue and update this space as and when required so stay tuned.
