Currently, the Premier League is considered the best football league. Millions of users around the world wait each season to support their favorite team match after match.

As with other sports and leagues, the Premier League offers its own official ‘Fantasy’ service.

For those who don’t know, a ‘Fantasy’ allows fans to create teams with their favorite players. Then, they will earn points according to the real-life performance of the chosen players during each match of the season.

That said, the official Fantasy Premier League (FPL) app has been crashing, freezing or not working after a recent update.

According to multiple reports, many Fantasy Premier League (FPL) app users are unable to use it due to multiple issues.

@OfficialFPL I don’t know if it’s just an issue with my app, but I updated the app today and it just boots me out when I select the fantasy tab?

@OfficialFPL so just updated app as requested, on both phone and iPad- and now the app won’t stay open. Just keeps shutting down.

A couple of potential workarounds

There is no official acknowledgment on the issue from FPL developers. But, there are a couple of workarounds you can try if you are experiencing problems.

First, some users report that the complete uninstall and reinstall of the app worked as a fix.

I had to uninstall app and download again then worked fine

In case the first workaround doesn’t work for you, it looks like the Fantasy Premier League isn’t showing any issues via the official website. So, you can temporarily access from a browser.
