Streamlabs is a software that helps streamers add visual alerts like new followers, donations, and subscribers on their screen.

In 2019, Logitech purchased the company for $89 million. The software lets streamers distribute content to Twitch, YouTube Live, and Facebook Live.

Apart from Streamlabs Desktop, the company also has a mobile app that packs features similar to the desktop counterpart.

While it is pretty stable, recent reports from Streamlabs users suggest many are seeing weird characters in chat (1,2,3,4,5).

Many are frustrated and wondering why this is happening in the first place. Streamers say the problem is making it impossible for them to chat or interact with their viewers.

Below are a few reports from Streamlabs users who are seeing weird characters in chat.
