We understand service outages or breakage are pretty common. But when an outage ends up concerning a massive user base, it becomes worth highlighting. Something similar is happening with Virgin Money app as of writing this.

Take a look at what some of the complainants have to say:

While responding to one of the complainants, here is what Virgin money app team on Twitter said:

We’re looking into this now so please bear with us.

Rest assured, we’re keeping a close watch on the service providers’ social media channels for more information on what could be causing this problem.

We’ll share with you the relevant developments as and when we bump into any. So keep a tab of this space for the latest info on the matter.

Update 1 (April 06)

Going by recent reports, not only the app, users are unable to login even through the website.

Can’t log on Via App or Website, this is an absolute Joke!! Down on Friday and AGAIN today

Update 2 (April 06)

Here is the latest status update on the matter from Virgin Money social media team:

We do apologise for any inconvenience caused and our team are looking to get our app back up and running asap

Update 3 (April 06)

The support has finally acknowledged the issue switch online services as well.

Our team are aware of an issue with some of our online services and app and they’re working as quickly as possible to get that back up and running

Update 4 (April 12)

Many frustrated users have taken to Twitter to claim that the Virgin Money app is once again not working for them. Fortunately, the company has acknowledged the problem and claims that a resolution is in the works.

We are aware that some customers are unable to log into the App at the moment and our team are actively working to try and fix this. (Source)

Update 5 (June 1)

01:47 pm (IST): Many users have taken to Twitter to report that the Virgin Money app is currently down or not working for them. Unfortunately, the support team has not yet acknowledged this outage.

07:13 pm (IST): Virgin Mobile on Twitter has now acknowledged the recent outage with its app and said that they are currently investigating it.

A quick update on this issue – we’re still investigating, and our mobile banking app and internet banking service are currently unavailable. We apologise again for the inconvenience this is causing, and will get everything back up and running as soon as we can. (Source)

Update 6 (July 1)

02:02 pm (IST): Many users have taken to Twitter (1, 2) to report that Virgin Money app is currently down or not working for them.

07:00 pm (IST): Virgin Money support on Twitter has confirmed that the recent outage with their app has now been resolved.
