Launched in 2015, Discord happens to be one of the few companies that have grown exponentially in the last few years.

What began as a tool for gamers to communicate with each other has now outdone itself and now is a complete voice, video, and text service with more than 150 million monthly active users worldwide.

It is designed to make it easy for people to create and manage public and private communities and keep in touch with each other.

While the app is pretty stable, frequent updates often lead to issues such as Overlay setting reverting to default and spell check not working on app and browser.

That said, Discord users are now reporting a new bug where the About Me page tab is not working or has disappeared (1,2,3,4,5).

Many say whenever they check out their own or their friends’ About Me section, nothing appears. It is interesting to note that status, profile pictures, and banners are still visible.

You can see in the image below what the bugged About Me section looks like:

I am unable to see “About Me” pages. When I open discord and try to look at my own or anyone else’s “About Me” nothing appears there. I can still see statuses, profile pictures, banners and games/apps that people are using but not their “About Me”. I recently updated my graphic drivers but I have never had an issue with Discord before.

Why is about me removed in dms and group dms? Me, my alts, all my discord clients and my friends see this. Did discord just remove about me’s from group dms…? Is this a bug? or is this a feature If so.. why its not a good addon.

Moreover, common troubleshooting solutions like logging out and back in, clearing cookies, and reinstalling the app aren’t helping either.

The problem seems to be causing a lot of frustration amongst users since they are unable to see other people’s About Me page tab and vice versa.

Unfortunately, we are yet to come across any official word on the matter, which means it might take a while before the developers fix the problem.

Rest assured, we will be keeping an eye out for more information and update this space when the issue is resolved so make sure you stay tuned.

My fascination with technology and computers goes back to the days of Windows XP. Since then, I have been tinkering with OS, mobile phones, and other things. When I am not working on anything, you will find me enjoying video games on some Discord server.
