New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…
Original story (published on October 1, 2021) follows:
Just in case you’re trying to wrap your head around why AT&T is down or not working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing connectivity issues.
A quick scroll through Twitter reveals there are many others affected by the same issue. As per reports, the service isn’t working or broken for them, meaning no way to access data services or calls.
For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:
@ATT Why is your customer service not equipped to inform us of a nationwide outage? I use my data to make money. I lost $30+ in the last hour due to this outage. We need answers…
In the Middle of my @Uber ride @ATT went down Man facepalming y’all messing my money up #at&t
Is AT&T down ahsum my phone really on some bullshit
Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that AT&T service is indeed down going through a glitch in multiple regions across the U.S., as can be seen in the image below:
Any official word on the matter? None so far, although some of those affected say AT&T support has kind of acknowledged the matter, but we are yet to come across any of this in official capacity.
Rest assured, we’re keeping tabs on all related developments, and will update this page with relevant info as and when we come across any. So in case you’re encountering the problem discussed here, stay hooked for updates.
