Original story (published on June 23, 2022) follows:

COD: Vanguard is the latest title in the long-running franchise that takes us back to World War 2 with a storyline exploring the birth of special forces.

Released in November last year, it is developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. But ever since its launch, players have reported numerous problems that make the game unplayable at times.

That said, recent reports from Vanguard players suggest many are getting low or no XP (1,2,3,4,5).

This is preventing them from leveling up or progressing in Battle Pass. Many say the problem surfaced after the start of new season.

Thankfully, Sledgehammer Games seems to be investigating the issue where some Vanguard players are getting low or no XP after playing matches.

Adding to the trouble, many say the Survivalist Camo for the Macro 5 SMG is not tracking even though they have all the attachments required (1,2,3,4,5).

As it turns out, Vanguard developers have acknowledged the issue and said a fix is underway. But there is no timeframe on when the problem will be resolved.
