Lost Ark long queue or wait time issue troubles many, players demand increase in capacity

Lost Ark MMO has been available on the global market since February of this year (2022). Amazon Games brought the game that had been successful in South Korea for at least 2 years.

Since its international availability, Lost Ark has gained a strong and active community of gamers. However, there are still things to improve to achieve the best possible experience.

Currently, many Lost Ark players are facing a ‘long queue’ issue where the wait time to access the game becomes excessively long (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10).

According to multiple reports, the current Lost Ark servers capacity cannot meet player demand.

Apparently, there are players getting tickets that put them in position 5,000 (or even 10,000) in the queue or waiting list to access (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

The game has been unplayable for the last two days.

I just don’t have time to sit in 5500 man queues, I just don’t. Tried half a dozen times to sneak in a quick game over the weekend, to no avail. It’s so disappointing that I don’t want to bother trying anymore. If this is how they want the game to be then I guess it’s time I move on. I’ve never had this issue with another game ever.

10,000+ wait queues are a bit ridiculous… NA West

I am wondering if there is any way around this or if this is being taken care of. All weekend it’s been around 10,000 plus players to get in and while this is great for the game, it’s not so great for me and I am sure others as players. Maybe consider adding a couple more servers and shuffling newer accounts to them? Maybe close off the bloated servers to new players?

Waiting behind a couple thousand wouldn’t be too terrible or even just a couple hundred. But 10,000 is way too much for a server que.

The main problem seems to be the low capacity of the Lost Ark servers compared to the amount of players.

So, as a solution to the problem, Lost Ark players are demanding that developers should increase the capacity of the game servers.

3k queues the past couple nights, now it’s 6k+ tonight and I’ll probably be asleep before I can get in game. Can you do anything to increase capacity @playlostark?
