Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on June 1, 2022) follows:

Ever since its release in September last year, FIFA 2022 has been in the spotlight for all sorts of reasons. While it is a noticeable upgrade over FIFA 21, the number of technical bugs has shooed away many players.

This might also be the reason why FIFA decided to end its decades-old partnership with Electronic Arts, with FIFA 23 being the last version of the game developed by the gaming giant.

Having said that, issues such as the game crashing in Career mode and Eredivisie TOTS loan player pack giving community players have been troubling many in the last few weeks.

While EA seems to be working hard to resolve the aforementioned problems, FIFA 22 players are now complaining that they still haven’t received the Prime Gaming Pack #8 for May (1,2,3,4,5).

You can see in the image below that searching for FIFA is not showing any results on the Amazon Prime Gaming page.

Hey, for some reason the May pack for Amazon prime still hasn’t dropped on the first of June. Yesterday it still said coming soon, but when I check the store today the entire game has been removed form the page. Can you please not get involved with false advertising as a lot of players were looking forward to open their prime rewards which have been scheduled to release a day ago.

Many FIFA players are angry and wondering why FIFA 22 developers promised Prime Gaming Packs when they are unable to deliver on time.

A Reddit user said they talked to Amazon Chat support who allegedly said that EA is yet to release the content to them.

just spoke to amazon chat .prime packs
U can guess it ea sports never released the content. Creators have to release said content.so amazon can then release it. Even if u are a indie developer u have to give amazon permission. Ea sports havnt given it .according to what chat support have said.. just another long line of anti consumerism from ea sports. As night follows day .

Thankfully, EA Help shed some light on the issue and said they are facing some technical difficulties that prevented the release of FIFA 22 Prime Gaming Pack #8 for May.

While it looks like FIFA 22 developers are working to fix the problem, they did not share any ETA of when it will be available.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out to us at EA Help. Sorry about the delayed response. We have seen similar reports from other players. We are aware of this issue and are working to fix this as soon as possible. Appreciate your patience in the meantime. -Joey

We hope EA soon releases the FIFA 22 Prime Gaming Pack #8 for May at the earliest. Keep checking this space for further updates.

Update 1 (June 2)

02:05 pm (IST): Some players believe (1, 2) that the prime gaming pack got delayed because Ligue1 TOTS was available during prime pack release week. Moreover, it will likely return when Serie A TOTS comes out.

Update 2 (June 3)

12:29 pm (IST): EA support has informed players that currently they do not have any ETA as to when this issue will be resolved. However, the team is investigating it.

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out about not having the next prime gaming pack for FIFA 22. That must be really frustrating. Let us provide you with the details. The FIFA team is looking into this and we currently do not have an estimated time frame at the moment. 1/2 -Amy (Source)
