Performance drops are reportedly so severe that the game hovers between 10 and 15 FPS at times.

It runs wild rift smooth with 60fps, but when it drops below 11%, the game becomes basically unplayable

Android. Normally I run Wild Rift with 15 fps. Right now I can’t even matchmake…nor select pvp option. Its utterly messed up.

Some players also experience high ping issues

For some players, the update even brought an issue where the ping goes up uncontrollably during matches. This notably affects the gameplay due to the delay it causes in the executed actions.

Android. But not only the FPS drop as you mentioned. When I play with mobile data (4G) my MS increases, like from 45/60 to 250/999 for example.
(It’s only happening with Wild Rift more often after the update. I don’t seem to have this issue with other games.)

The possible cause of the problem, official acknowledgment

Some players report that the update causes the game to consume excessive hardware resources. This results in the chipset applying thermal throttling to prevent high temperatures, thus decreasing performance.

Also the problem is caused by high cpu usage (100% of my snapdragon 888 is used by wild rift when the fps drop occurs) hope this helps you!
