If you happen to live in the US and are looking for a website that lets you gamble on sports or play poker online, you must have heard about Bovada.

Based out of Costa Rica, the online sportsbook was founded back in 2011. It features a wide range of games including but not limited to table games, blackjack, and major US sports leagues.

It also offers a legal way for those in the US to bet on sports and gamble online.

However, some states in the US have banned all forms of gambling regardless of where the host is based. It means people from New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Nevada, and Delaware will be unable to place bets on Bovada.

That said, Bovada users are now reporting that the website is down or not working right now (1,2,3,4,5).

Some initially thought it was a problem on their end and tried resetting their internet connection, clearing browser cache, deleting cookies, and even trying a new browser but nothing helped.

Having log in troubles once again. Once I’m able to log in, can’t properly navigate around the site. Luckily, I haven’t deposited during the last 11 days once I saw the banner on the home page of the website notifying us of potential issues. Hardly any updates, poor compensation, and constant log in (myself) and deposit (everyone else) issues for more than a week. Incredible stuff really.

This is the first time it’s been legitimately down for me which is surprising considering what everyone else has been dealing with. I did temporarily lose $100 on a poker game when this all started but got it back. Was kicking me in and out of a 50$ double up a few hours ago but was able to finish it up. Right after I haven’t been able to load the sports betting section

Fortunately, Bovada has commented on the matter and said that they are aware that the website is down or not working for many.

While they clarified that the developers are working to restore functionality, there is no ETA on when it will be back up.

We are aware that Bovada users are currently experiencing site issues. The team is working hard to get up and running as soon as possible and we deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused. More information & updates are posted on https://community.bovada.lv or contact our CS team
