Released in 2015, Brawlhalla is a fighting game developed by Blue Mammoth Games and published by Ubisoft. It features over 55 playable characters called Legends, each with unique abilities, loadout, and stats.

With somewhere around 900,000 monthly active players worldwide, the main goal of the game is to knock your opponent off the stage similar to Super Mario Bros.

Players lose their life whenever they are knocked off the stage. Those with the most amount of points or the last one standing wins the match.

That said, the developers frequently update the game with new content in the form of legends and balance changes.

But according to recent reports from Brawlhalla players, many say they are getting no or low sound on the Android version of the game (1,2,3,4,5).

While some say the sound effects have become quiet lately, others say the game is mute for them.

Common troubleshooting solutions such as force stopping the game and launching it again, clearing app data and cache, and reinstalling are not helping either.

So with this update we got something we did not know we needed, because we did not need it. The new audio mix is absolutely garbage. They mixed too many things to the sides, it’s fine when making music, but you don’t need to do this with all the game’s sound effects. It sounds very distracting. The audio levels are all off. Some sounds are way too quiet, some sound are WAY TOO LOUD. It’s like the whole thing was mixed by someone who doesn’t understand the very basics of mixing, which is balancing the audio levels.

As it turns out, Brawlhalla developers have acknowledged the issue where Android players have no or low sound after the recent update. However, they did not share any timeframe of when the problem will be fixed.
