Here’s the crux of the article in video form:

New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on May 20, 2022) follows:

Developed and published by Epic Games, Fortnite is one of the most popular titles in the Battle Royale niche. Recently, the developers made the leap from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5 with the start of Chapter 3.

While the new engine brought in significant performance enhancements and increase in visual fidelity, players have been complaining about issues such as some getting ‘Cloud Download Failure’ error and the black screen issue when playing split-screen.

And as if these weren’t annoying enough, Fortnite players are now saying that the game is not tracking the Supply Llama challenges (1,2,3,4,5).

Players are getting frustrated and wondering if they will be able to enter the second phase of the challenge and collect the associated rewards.

Some have already tried restarting their system, verifying game files, and logging out and back into their Fortnite accounts but the challenges seem stuck.

Bug for the supply llama
I signed up for the supply llama when it first came out and since then I’ve been playing “surviving storm circles” but it doesn’t update it’s been 2 days and now I’m disappointed because it’s still on 0/25 and now I won’t get the rewards and I really wanted that dynamic loading screen and now it’s doing the same with stage 2 someone know why? I made sure I logged into the same acc and I’m sure my PSN and epic are connected

Supply Llama – What am I doing wrong? Hi all, I registered this morning for the Supply Llama challenges. I then played for hours in squads (in two sets, I logged off for about an hour for lunch). I can see the community progress updating, but my personal contribution is still 0/25. My PSN account is linked to my Epic account. My PSN account is not a “sub” account. Is it just me? Is there something I’m missing? Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, we did not come across any official word on the matter. We hope Fortnite developers (Epic Games) soon take a look at the matter and fix the issue where Supply Llama challenges are not tracking for some.

If and when they do, we will be letting you know so keep checking PiunikaWeb for further updates. Also, make sure you take a look at our dedicated Fortnite bugs and issues tracker to see similar issues affecting players.

Update 1 (May 23)

11:01 am (IST): Fortnite support on Twitter has now acknowledged this issue and said that they are investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

We’re investigating reports of players not seeing the PlayStation Supply Llama rewards on the correct account they’d signed up with, and will provide an update when we have more info. (Source)
