Samsung recently announced the next generation of its foldable flagship devices i.e., Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3.
Both devices are powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC and will offer Android 11 out-of-the-box. As for the One UI version, it is being speculated that the foldable devices will come with One UI 3.1.1 instead of One UI 3.5.

However, the One UI version for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 remains unclear until the OEM releases the devices.
On the updates front, both devices are expected to get three major Android OS updates with at least four years for security updates. This further means that Android OS support may be available for the devices until Android 14.
Thus we will keep tabs on the all the updates, bugs, and issues related to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 in this post.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 software updates
Since the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 are yet to hit the market, there isn’t much info available about the software they will offer.
However, both devices will definitely get the update to One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 when it comes out later this year.
