[Updated] COD Vanguard Zombie Survivalist camo progression not tracking, issue acknowledged

Call of Duty Vanguard is the latest installment in the long-running franchise. Set at the end of the Second World War, the game explores the birth of special forces all over the world.

And despite Activision handing over the development to Sledgehammer Games, players have reported numerous bugs and issues such as Quick Play and Combat Pacing resetting and aim assist not working for many.

That being said, Call of Duty Vanguard players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that the Zombie Survivalist camo progression is not tracking. It looks like the issue is affecting multiple guns.

Many say the bug is preventing them from getting Golden Viper or any other mastery camo. Here are some reports from COD Vanguard players who say the Zombie Survivalist camo progression is not tracking.

I have only tested a couple of weapons as I spent the double XP weekend leveling up LMGs. Survivalist camos (kills with 7 attachments) are not tracking. In my very brief testing I have found out that tracking is bugged for Type 100, Type 11 and Welgun. Someone also reported earlier that tracking is also bugged for Gracey Auto. There will obviously be more guns that are bugged as well. This is a problem for people who want to get golden viper or any other mastery camo.

Survivalist Camo Glitch M1928. Anybody else having issues with with kills not being added to Survivalist Camo challenge for M1928? I have used only the add ons you need to complete it and it won’t register any kills. I’ve tried everything and don’t know why it won’t add them. Anyone know how to fix this?

Fortunately, COD Vanguard developers (Sledgehammer Games) have acknowledged the issue and said that it is currently under investigation.

04:51 pm (IST): Raven Software has confirmed that they have scheduled a fix for this issue that will be available in a future game update.

04:45 pm (IST): The issue with Survivalist camo challenges has been resolved in the most recent COD: Vanguard update.
