New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on May 11, 2022) follows:

Released in 2017, Apex Legends is an online multiplayer game developed by Respawn Entertainment. With over 100 million registered players worldwide, the developers released the Season 13 update a few hours ago.

Titled Saviors, the new season introduces a new defense-focused Legend named Newcastle, some improvements to Ranked, several new weapon changes, and a modified Stormpoint map.

However, issues such as chat not working on Xbox and players getting kicked out at the character selection screen have been negatively affecting the gameplay experience for many.

And according to recent reports from Apex Legends players, it looks like Loba bracelet or tactical is not working once again (1,2,3,4,5).

It is interesting to note that this is not the first time the issue is affecting players. In February last year, Respawn Entertainment fixed the same issue.

Players say they are tired of the same bug affecting them again and again. Below are some reports from Apex Legends players complaining about Loba tactical not working.

Loba is bugged on Storm Point. Seems like her tactical doesn’t work consistently, usually higher placed areas like roofs, or places that are tall. I’m guessing it’s to do with the change to out of bounds areas, but what’s odd is on this places I can still use my weapon. I wonder if anyone is experiencing this with other legends?

It’s not just Downed Beast, there were multiple parts on Stormpoint where I could flat out not use her bracelet unless I forced it down. The most notable instance was the cliff edge by Command Center. Anytime I tried to let it go down naturally, it would cancel itself at the point it was supposed to teleport me. Really disappointed that once again, Loba’s bracelet is broken because she’s been my main for multiple seasons. I try to switch but there’s something about the way she feels that makes playing other characters feel really janky.

Update 1 (July 12)

06:03 pm (IST): Two months after the first reports related to the issue emerged, Apex Legends Loba bracelet or tactical is still bugged (1, 2, 3, 4).

Currently, Loba bracelet is a ‘hit or miss’, making it unreliable during matches. In their latest official acknowledgment, the EA team recommends players post feedback on the support forums to speed up a fix.
