[Updated] FIFA 22 players impacted by glitch where Gold cards were granted with Red picks still haven't received correct items, no ETA for resolution

Electronic Arts is one of the biggest gaming studios in the world. In October last year, they launched the 29th installment in the FIFA franchise – FIFA 22.

The latest FIFA title comes with Hypermotion Technology and has made several improvements to the Career and Ultimate Team modes. But soon after its release, it was plagued with various technical glitches.

While EA is working to fix most of them, issues such as Marquee Matchup and Icon SBC missing and players unable to recover cards or players sold via Quick Sell are still affecting many.

Adding to the long list of bugs and issues, FIFA 22 players are now saying they received Gold Cards from Red picks (1,2,3,4,5).

Many are wondering why this happened and if EA will be compensating those affected by the problem. Here are some reports from FIFA 22 players who received Gold Cards instead of Red picks.

I opened my red picks the other week opened them on totw 29 and got totw 28 player out of the pick they were the 3 one of 5 player picks I contacted ea and the said there would be a fix I still haven’t had my fix yet so have been asked to put something up on here it’s is a know issue and lots of people have had it but still no fix

I have just finished playing my fut Champions game and finished in the rank 7 with 35 points opened my player picks and received an option of 4 gold rares in both picks. I picked brandt and sangre (sangre should be a tots but I received his gold rare) will I get my picks back and receive the right players In the pick and will I get the tots sangre? Please help! I have submitted the two images of the picks I received and as you can see they are gold rares and sangre is not his special version

As it turns out, EA seems to be already aware of the issue where FIFA 22 players are receiving Gold Cards on opening Red picks and said they will be compensating those affected in the coming days.
