[Updated] Fortnite Omega Knight quest category appearing as 'completed', issue under investigation
New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….
Original story (published on May 4, 2022) follows:
Fortnite (developed by Epic Games) is the most popular game in the battle-royale segment. It has been available since 2017 in free-to-play format.
Fortnite is available on many current and previous generation consoles and platforms, and even on mobile devices (Android and iOS). In addition, the PC version’s hardware requirements are reasonable, enhancing accessibility.
Like other free-to-play games, Fortnite’s monetization system is based on in-game purchases such as packs, skins, and season pass. One of the bundles that will arrive in the next few hours will be the Omega Knight.
What is the Fortnite Omega Knight bundle?
Omega Knight is a new skin that will be available in the next few hours through the Omega Knight bundle. The skin’s appearance combines an intimidating medieval armor with a futuristic theme.
To unlock the skin, players must purchase the Omega Knight bundle from the store and complete a set of challenges. But, at the time of writing this story, the bundle is not available yet.
Fortnite Omega Knight quests showing as ‘completed’
That said, according to multiple reports, the Fortnite Omega Knight bundle challenges are erroneously showing up as ‘completed’ on players’ profiles.
The Omega Knight Level Up Quest Pack hasn’t gone live yet. However, his challenges are already visible and state that they have all been completed.
Omega Knight quests?
I just updated and I found a new set of quests labeled “Omega Knight.” When I scroll down to it to see what the quests are, it says “all quest completed.”
Is this a bug? Does it say the same thing for everyone?
However, it appears to be a visual bug, as the bundle is not yet available in the Fortnite Store, although it is expected to be in the next few hours.
It’s a totally new skin, but its not released yet. It’s like the shadow series Monarch skin from last season with the challenges to get 28 levels I believe.
Epic Games is already aware
The Epic Games team is already aware of the issue and is investigating. The company has not yet offered details on an ETA for a fix.
We’re investigating an issue where the ‘Omega Knight’ Quest category is incorrectly appearing for players. No quests or rewards have been granted or missed, we’ll provide an update when we have more info.
We will update this story once new details emerge on the matter.
Update 1 (May 5)
