New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 20, 2022) follows:

Fortnite is the successful battle-royale developed by Epic Games. Currently, the game is available on almost all platforms and consoles, including mobile devices (Android/iOS).

One of the biggest attractions of the game is the large amount of resources available to players around the map in each match. These resources include items, weapons, and even vehicles.

One of the vehicles that players can use is the Quadcrasher. This is basically a fun ATV that has seats for two characters (the driver and a passenger) and greatly enhances mobility across the map.

As if that were not enough, the Quadcrasher allows Fortnite players to fly. But, this feature is presenting some issues, since the controls of the vehicle are not responding correctly in the air (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

Fortnite Quadcrasher control issue while flying

According to multiple reports, when Fortnite players attempt to use movement keys while flying with a Quadcrasher, they are unable to control the vehicle.

Omg yes I keep dying because my quadcrasher suddenly goes to max gravity when flying and goes straight into the ground.

Oh thank god I thought I was too high or got some bunk shit this morning when I went to Quadcrash and couldn’t. So glad they’re working to make this game more fun and competitive lol.

Apparently, the issue started since the arrival of the Fortnite v19.10 update, according to multiple reports from affected players.

Did they nerf Quadcrashers in the 19.10 update? Or is it just a glitch?

When using Quadcrashers in the 19.10 update, it’s now impossible to move any direction while in the air. (It acts exactly like Party Royale Quads now.) Yesterday i was able to fly for a little bit with the quads by moving up and boosting but now it seems completely impossible to. It acts like a car now when going airborne now.

Epic Games is already aware

Having said the above, fortunately, the Epic Games (the developers of Fortnite) team is already aware of the bug that causes control issues while flying with the Quadcrasher.

The company confirmed this by reflecting it on its public Trello board, through which they list the bugs or errors that are pending to be corrected and on which they are working.

However, at the moment, there is no estimated date for the arrival of an update with the fix. So, affected players can only wait for new events related to the matter to arise.

To conclude, if there is any change in the next few days, we will update this article. Also, you can check the bug/issues tracker related to Fortnite.

Update 2 (April 27)

01:40 pm (IST): Fortnite has confirmed on their official Trello board that the issue where players are unable to control Quadcrasher while flying has been fixed.
