Dead By Daylight Mobile players receiving excessive Bloodpoints but unable to use or spend them, issue acknowledged

If you are tired of shooting games and are looking for a different kind of multiplayer title, Dead by Daylight might be the one for you.

Developed and published by Behaviour Interactive, the horror survival title involves one killer hunting down four survivors.

The main objective of the game is to survive and fix the generators without getting caught by the killer.

Many say the game always feels fresh, thanks to the developers frequently updating it with new content in the form of balance changes and new killers.

Having said that, sometimes these updates cause issues such as players being unable to log in to the game using Facebook.

Adding to the trouble, Dead by Daylight Mobile players are now saying they are receiving excessive Bloodpoints but there is no way to use or spend them (1,2,3,4,5).

Many say they are getting an ‘Item Collection Failed: An error has occurred while trying to collect your item. This may happen if you have no network connection. Please try again’ error message when trying to claim the excessive Bloodpoints.

glitch or hack? Yesterday I got 3 packages throught the in game mailbox that totalled 400k blood points. They ‘often’ appear in my blood point bank counter but I cannot spend them. Any one else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Yes, and now I can gather 300 thousand more blood points than allowed because the simple Easter event came bugged and I can’t spend the bloodpoints that the event gave. just look at the amount of bloodpoints

A player explained that the same problem surfaced on the PC version of the game a year ago and that the Bloodpoints received cannot be used anywhere.

It’s the free 100k BP in the mail, it’s bugged, not supposed to be for mobile but they copy pasted all their files from PC and stuff so now it’s in mobile but the BP you claim is ghost BP you see it and it’s there but you can’t use it and now you’ll have that forever with you, they did this over a year ago too with 50k BP, have been stuck with that ever since

Thankfully, Dead by Daylight Mobile developers have commented on the matter and clarified that it is indeed an issue on their end. While a fix is already underway, there is no ETA on when it will be coming.
