I play offline more then online due to unreliable internet connection. I have been trying to level all characters little by little. Twice in the past 2 days I have played chaos wastes offline and had my game boot me out to a menu saying an error has occurred would you like to report this. I’ve reported the bug both times. Both times the error happened at the map board.

Are chaos wastes still crashing constantly?

Got a friend into the game just as it updated the other day and wanted to run some wastes with him so he could get some decent drops. Problem is I like a lot of you have been getting constant crashes trying to do a run since the big patch. Has it been hot fixed? I would check notes but I’m away from PC

The issue can occur randomly in any situation. There are reports where it happens during loading screens, and others where it happens when rejoining a game just after crashing.

So lately if i experience a game crash during a run, when i get invited back, my character gets stuck in one of the survival parts of the map, and can’t advance passed the gate despite the event being completed. Just wanted to bring attention to it.

Problems with Chaos Wastes

Is anybody else having problems with Chaos Wastes servers? I’m playing with my partner and the game keeps lagging through levels and crashing in loading screens.

The developers are already aware of the issue in question and are investigating. However, there are no details on an ETA for a fix yet.

In the meantime, there is a potential workaround that could help resolve the problem on Nvidia hardware. Basically it is recommended to do a clean driver re-installation with the latest drivers.
