MLB The Show is one of the most popular baseball simulators available. The game is developed by San Diego Studio, a subdivision of PlayStation Studios, although it is also available on Xbox consoles.

The most recent installment in the saga is MLB The Show 22. The game has been available since yesterday (April 1), and early players are already reporting some issues that require a fix.

Currently, some MLB The Show players are facing a glitch in ‘Mini Season’ mode where the game is counting some wins as losses (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11).

According to multiple reports, some wins obtained on MLB The Show Mini season mode are counting as loss for the players’ record.

Mini Seasons Issues

Anyone else having issues in mini season where you win the game but on your record it counts as a loss?? Ive won 6 of the 7 games ive played but my record for the season is 4 wins 3 losses. Just curious to see if anyone else has had this happen.

Some reports indicate that the MLB The Show Mini season mode is glitched in other ways as well. For instance, many times some can’t even access it.

Mini seasons glitched for anyone else?

I just won a game and when I want back to the mini seasons screen, it said I lost. This was the second time I played this game because the first time I won it didn’t count (somehow). On top of that it’s a super glitchy mode that won’t let me enter the game half the time. Am I the only one experiencing these issues?

The MLB The Show developers are already aware of the issue, along with an issue related to marketplace orders.

The company will perform a server maintenance to apply a fix to the marketplace orders issue, but there are no details yet on a fix to the Mini season wins glitch.

We’re aware of the issues related to Mini Seasons and marketplace orders. We plan on performing server maintenance ~12:15PM PT (temporarily turning off match-making now). We expect marketplace Active Orders to be visible again after.

As a potential workaround, some players report that restarting the game once the glitch occurs could help fix it.

If your wins are counting as losses just restart your game. Seems to fix it for a few games.

01:25 pm (IST): A new update for the game is live with various bug fixes. But unfortunately, it does not bring any fixes or improvements for the issue where wins are counting as losses.

05:40 pm (IST): MLB support on Twitter has informed players that they are working to resolve the issue where Mini Seasons wins are counting as loss. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

01:41 pm (IST): MLB support on Twitter has informed that the game will undergo maintenance at 4 am PT today.

Workaround:

Back out of the mode between games, before you start a new one. 9-0 so far and thats worked for me to avoid this (Source)

04:58 pm (IST): Some users reported (1, 2) that this issue is fixed for them. However, there is no confirmation if it is resolved for everyone else.

12:47 pm (IST): One of the affected players now says that this issue only happens when servers are down.

does it only happen when the server goes out during your game? that’s been the case with me, servers just go out often so it’s been an issue (Source)
