Elden Ring Alexander Warrior Jar stuck at Starscourge Radahn & One Shot invisible magic attack bugs reported by many

Elden Ring arrived in February as the latest FromSoftware game. It inherits the ‘Souls-like’ combat mechanics from the company’s previous games.

The game has had a very positive reception since its release. However, it also has certain bugs and issues that impact gameplay and require a fix.

For instance, currently, some Elden Ring players are facing an issue where Alexander Warrior Jar gets stuck at Starscourge Radahn. Also, there is an ‘invisible magic attack’ exploit that others are taking advantage of.

There are many quest lines that you can follow throughout the world of the Elden Ring, both mandatory and optional. One of the quest lines is Alexander’s.

To progress, the character must follow you and help you fight a fire giant. But, this is not happening as Alexander gets stuck in Starscourge Radahn instead of following you after talking to him (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

So I’m trying to progress Alexander’s quest line so he can help me fight the fire giant, but he seems to be stuck at starscourge and no matter how many times I talk to him he doesn’t move from that location. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

Apparently, the bug is occurring after the most recent Elden Ring patch update.

Just wanted to say this is exactly what happened to me. I’ve done the questline on PS5 and now i’m playing on PC and he’s stuck at Radahns after i unstuck him at Liurna. Won’t show up at the magma lake, and he definitely isn’t at his last spot in Farum Azula either… I only did this quest on PS5 just before the patch so might be a new bug.

If i speak to Alexander at Radahn’s grace point he just keeps talking about how he’s just talking to himself about the corpses

This issue affects the PvP mode of the game. According to reports, some Elden Ring players are receiving an invisible magic attack that kills their characters in one shot (1, 2, 3, 4).

i keep getting one shotted by some invisible spell in PVP

im not sure what this is. at first i thought they werr legit hacking, but several people have done this to me. usually they have three swords above their head i think and if i run too close to them i get on shot instantly and it doesnt look like they even do anything at all. u guys know what this is?

This appears to be an exploit that some players are taking advantage of to cheat during other players’ invasions.
