Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands arrived this year as a new FPS game developed by Gearbox, the creators of the Borderlands saga. In fact, the game is a spin-off of the Borderlands series.

However, currently many players are facing issues related to the game’s co-op mode. Some are unable to join or invite friends in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands co-op mode, while others experience a ‘Loot luck broken’ issue.

‘Loot Luck’ is a Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands gameplay mechanic that determines the rarity of the drops you get. The higher your Loot Luck stat, the more easily you will receive high rank drops (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6).

But, currently many players are facing a visual bug where their Loot Luck stat is greatly reduced while playing in co-op mode, affecting the rarity of drops (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

Co op loot luck has to be bugged

Played solo for a few hours yesterday and was getting legendaries at a normal rate, then my buddy joined for about 5 hours and I did not get a single legendary, but he was getting them from just about every mini boss.

Then the servers go down so I’m playing solo, and all of a sudden I’m getting legendaries at a normal rate again. Like the first mini boss I kill after he leaves I get a legendary.

Loot luck Co-op bugged

Either there is a display bug not showing correct numbers for Loot Luck. Characters was played with my friend from very start so all dice were found. In my own game it looks like I have correct numbers but in his game it shows MUCH lower numbers. He also gets A LOT more blues and purples, He has also found 3 Legendaries while I have found 0 tho all this may just be RNG.

Players unable to join or invite friends in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands co-op mode

Some Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands players are also unable to join or invite friends to play the adventure in co-op mode.

Apparently, the player’s entire friend list appears ‘offline’ when trying to invite any of them. On the other hand, the player gets stuck in the menu when trying to accept an invite (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13).

Menu and Social buggy

So I’m on Xbox One S, and having some issues, I can’t seem to join my friend who’s on playstation for one. Whenever I go to social and click join it soft locks me in that main menu. Whether I try it from the home screen or not (also don’t know how to accept invites that are sent to me -_- through shift).

Can’t join/invite playstation friend on pc

I am currently trying to play with a friend who is on Playstation. Im on PC and I see his name on my Friends roster but its saying he’s offline and I can’t join him.

Are we doing something wrong or what?

Gearbox team already aware

The Gearbox team is aware of both issues and is working on them. They also clarify that the issue with co-op invites happens to players who have more than 200 friends on their list.

There is no information yet on estimated arrival date for a fix. We will update this story if there is any change in the situation.

Update 1 (March 29)

11:47 am (IST): A gamer now claims that the player who hosts the lobby isn’t affected by the Loot luck issue. Thus, this can be used as a potential workaround until devs release a definite fix.

this is happening to me aswell all i had to do was change who was hosting the lobby and it got fixed edit it happens to my friend now instead of me (Source)

Update 02 (March 30)

11:19 am (IST): Players on Xbox consoles recently received an update to address the crashing issue during Fast Travel. However, there was no mention of any improvements for the Loot Luck bug or issues with invites.

Update 03 (March 31)

05:27 pm (IST): A gamer pointed out that sending invitations through Discord works fine. So, those affected can use this as a workaround until devs release an official fix.

Update 04 (April 02)

04:47 pm (IST): A new update has been released for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, but unfortunately, it does not mention anything about the Loot Luck issue.

Update 05 (April 04)

12:12 pm (IST): One of the affected players on Reddit has shared a potential fix for the Loot Luck issue via a small video. If you are still facing this issue, then you can try and see if it helps.

Update 06 (April 05)

05:27 pm (IST): A player has shared a potential workaround for the Loot Luck issue via a YouTube video. So those who are still facing this issue can try it out.
