Mobile Legends is one of the most popular mobile MOBA games in the world. Heavily inspired by DOTA and League of Legends, the 5v5 PvP title has millions of players worldwide.

Developed and published by Moonton, the game receives frequent updates in the form of new heroes, skins, and balance changes every once in a while.

However, in the last few months, players have been complaining about various technical glitches such as the game crashing on loading screen on Android 12 and low quality graphics on iPad.

That said, Mobile Legends players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that ‘Downloading Resources’ is stuck at 0% and won’t progress or complete. Some said they waited hours to see if the process completes but to no avail.

A bunch of players say they were able to download resources, but the game started downloading them again once they restarted. Many are frustrated and wondering if this is a problem with their device or a server-side issue.

You can see in the image below how some Mobile Legends players are stuck at 0% when downloading resources despite low ping and fast internet speed.

Unfortunately, Mobile Legends developers are yet to comment on the matter. However, we did come across a workaround shared by a user that is reportedly helping those affected by the problem.

It involves clearing the app cache and data, uninstalling the game and installing it once again.

I already reported this and talked to them(an hour after update) and they passed it on their technical staff(2 days later). Mine is fixed now but I did it myself..
Step 1: phone settings app, clear cache and data. Step 2: uninstall Step 3: reinstall Step 4: let it load..

While this might take somewhere from a couple of minutes to hours to redownload all the resources, it looks like this is the only way affected players can fix the issue. If the aforementioned workaround helped you fix the problem, do let us know in the comments below.
