[Updated] COD Vanguard players complain about not getting Snake Bite Camo, issue acknowledged

Call of Duty Vanguard is one of the most popular titles for those looking to play a World War 2 themed multiplayer game.

That said, in the last few months, players have complained about bugs and issues such as Zombie Survivalist camo progression not tracking or combat pacing missing or unavailable on Hard Core modes .

And as if the aforementioned problems weren’t enough, Call of Duty Vanguard players are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that they are not getting the Snake Bite Camo as promised.

In case you are unaware, the Snake Bite Camo is a part of the CDL Major 1 Viewership rewards. These rewards can be claimed by simply linking your Activision account with your YouTube account and watching live matches during the tournament.

Many say that they were able to claim all other rewards except the Snake Bite Camo. Here are some reports from Vanguard players who haven’t received the Snake Bite Camo.

Its 3/30. Did Anyone’s CDL viewer “Snake” reward Camo unlock?
I just logged on and see that the store has updated with the Boston Breach pack (finally) and the new C.o.d.e pack, so I checked the Snake camo said to be available today. It wasn’t unlocked despite receiving all other rewards and watching the entirety of CDL matches this season. Is it just me?

Some have even tried relinking their Activision account to their YouTube account but to no avail. Fortunately, COD Vanguard developers seem to be aware of the issue and have added it to their Trello board.

While the problem is currently being investigated, there seems to be no ETA on when it will be resolved.

We hope the developers soon find out the root cause of the problem and reward players with the Snake Bite Camo as promised.
