In the gaming industry, Cyberpunk 2077 has managed to achieve something that no other game can. Ever since its release, the title has earned the reputation of being one of the best looking games with the most amount of bugs.
Developed and published by CD Projekt Red, the same studio that brought us The Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 has managed to stay in the news for all sorts of reasons.
While the list of bugs is endless, players recently complained about stuttering and FPS drops with many unable to loot drones even after the 1.5 patch.
And if you thought that was all, Cyberpunk 2077 players are now saying (1,2,3,4,5) that the bug where access points do not give any quickhacks hasn’t been fixed.
It looks like the problem has been affecting players since the game’s launch. This is frustrating those looking forward to getting quickhacks.
Here is what some Cyberpunk 2077 players who are not getting any quickhacks from access points have to say.

Data mining quick hacks still bugged? I’ve been playing since 1.5 and I’ve never received a single quickhack from access points to my knowledge. I’ve tried farming the points like some people say you have to do, and still nothing. No legendaries or epics, nor rare and uncommon. Not even a common. Nothing. I’ve even wasted 2 perk points on datamine virtuoso. I really enjoy this game since I bought it on sale and it feels like it runs great with no bugs 90% of the time, but this bug is just awful. No one seems to agree on what causes it or how to fix it.

Not able to get quickhacks from access points. This is curious one as I can’t pin it down if this happened due doing job where V get Ping quickhack from T-Bug or if it happened after I put one point in Intelligence / Breach to improve chances to get quickhacks from access points. For me it looks like it’s either of those two that caused the issue. Got quickhacks from access points before either T-Bug Ping or putting one point at relevant perk in Breach.

While Cyberpunk developers are yet to acknowledge the issue where the access point is not giving any quickhacks, we came across a workaround that might help fix the problem for those playing the game on PC.
It requires players to use the SaveGame editor and set the failedShardDrops value to zero.

We hope the developers take a look at the issue and fix it in the coming version so players can get quickhacks from access points once again. When they do, we will update this article so stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
