The Sims Mobile claimed STS (Sweet Treat Showdown) rewards not seen as claimed, issue under investigation

The Sims Mobile, the ‘lite’ version of the iconic saga, is constantly receiving new events and content.

However, it is common for the new available events to come with certain problems that negatively impact the gameplay. STS (Sweet Treat Showdown) is one of the recurring events that usually presents more issues when it receives new content.

Recently, The Sims Mobile players have been facing an issue where their claimed STS rewards are not appearing as claimed. This also opens the door to an exploit that some are taking advantage of.

According to multiple reports, The Sims Mobile is not counting STS rewards claimed as already claimed, which is causing issues for players.

@TheSimsMobile Have you noticed a bug about Sim festival prices? When I completed one sesonal task and got my festival pass rewards, and opened game again I had to collect them again? And I got same level rewards what I have collected. This have happened so many times to me!

In some cases, the same initially claimed rewards must be re-claimed each time you log out and back into the game. Meanwhile, other players don’t get all the rewards they should when claiming them (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).

STS Glitch when opening box is annoying

When it says you get 2 boxes, now you actually get 1 box. And they take your previous prize.

For example: I use 300 token to buy 1 box. And got 500 simoleon. Then second time I use 300 token to buy 1 box, it says 2, and take my 500 simoleon from previous box, but I only get 1 prize instead of 2! This is annoying. Do this happen with you?

That said, some players are taking advantage of the glitch to use an exploit that allows them to obtain ‘unlimited currency prizes’ when opening boxes.

The bonus STS is still bugged. 😯

So I’ve received two currency prizes… And, once again, they’re not getting checked off or counting toward the total prizes redeemed. I’m simultaneously excited and disappointed, LOL. I don’t know what STS bug they fixed, but this ain’t it.

Reports related to the issue reached the ears of EA through its Community Managers, who are requesting more feedback from affected players to speed up the investigation.
