YouTube login not working (unable to sign in) after deleting channel, issue under investigation confirms support

YouTube has thousands of content creators on its platform. The video service also allows users to monetize their channels once they have met certain requirements.

However, some YouTube video creators are facing issues with their accounts. Apparently, they are unable to sign in to their YouTube account after deleting a YouTube channel.

You can create multiple channels in the same YouTube account. This way you can have all your videos channels organized in one place.

YouTube channels can be deleted whenever the creator wishes, which should not affect the YouTube account or the other channels.

But, some content creators on YouTube are currently unable to sign in to their accounts after deleting a video channel (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).

The ‘Sorry, we can’t sign you in to YouTube while your YouTube data is being deleted. Please try again later’ error message is preventing some creators from accessing their YouTube accounts after deleting a channel.

Hi YouTube Team. Few days ago I deleted my youtube channel which had no videos with a intention of creating a new fresh channel and start creating videos for YouTube.
While deleting the channel I read that it may take some time to delete you channel. Now it’s been more than a week I guess.

Now I want to create a new channel with the same google account and I get a error saying “Sorry, we can’t sign you in to YouTube while your YouTube data is being deleted. Please try again later.”

Some reports from users affected by the issue suggest that they can access their YouTube accounts from a phone, but not from a computer.

my account once was hacked and the hacker uploaded lotta videos, i did delete all > reset my password and got my account back, one of these 2 channels got deleted and the other when i try to sign in it says ” Your account has been permanently disabled. ” i talked to them and they said its not disabled, i can sign in from my phone but when i try on my pc i cant somehow, i deleted youtube cache and cookies still didnt work.

The YouTube team is already aware of the issue and is investigating, but there is no ETA for a fix yet.
