Lost Ark players furious as Arkesia Grand Prix item level limitation still not fixed for honing materials after March 15 hotfix

Lost Ark recently hit the global market after more than 2 years of waiting. The international version of the game is distributed by Amazon Games and is currently available only on Windows OS.

Lost Ark is an MMO game that combines a fantasy setting and an ARPG combat system. Also, you can play without spending anything since it is free-to-play.

Like other similar games, Lost Ark allows you to improve your character in different ways. One of the options you have to make yourself more powerful is the honing system.

However, many Lost Ark players find the system to be currently restrictive due to level limitations that prevent them from accessing better honing materials (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

The situation was supposed to change with a hotfix, but in the end this was not the case.

This March, Lost Ark received a major update that brought the ‘Arkesia Grand Prix’ event. As his name suggests, the event challenges players to beat races, but with mounts instead of vehicles.

The update also brought the Arkesia Grand Prix exchange where you can purchase interesting items and materials. But, many players were disappointed by the exchange level limitations.

Apparently, you can’t access key honing materials at the Lost Ark Arkesia Grand Prix exchange if you don’t have a certain level.

However, yesterday (March 15) the game received a hotfix. The changelog notes the removal of the level limitation for buying items at the Lost Ark Arkesia Grand Prix exchange.

But, Lost Ark players found that the above is not fully met. The Arkesia Grand Prix exchange item level limitation remains for key material honing items, according to reports.

The situation has many Lost Ark players furious and frustrated as they consider honing materials to be the most interesting items on the Grand Prix exchange (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8).

Just wanted to provide feedback that currently I, (a Tier 2 player) am still not able to buy Tier 3 materials because my item level is not high enough. However, the patch notes clearly stated that they “Removed the purchase limitation by item level at the Arkesia Grand Prix exchange so that players can now earn more rewards.” Which did not happen.

Also, the fact that the changelog for the most recent hotfix reflects ‘false changes’ only adds to the annoyance of players.

As per title, what the hell? The most important items to buy in preparation for an upcoming Frustration Tier would be the honing materials, so you can use the event to start gathering them ahead of time, yet they are what would prove the patch notes to be a lie?
