Original story (published on March 14, 2022) follows:

Based out of the U.S., Resideo Technologies is a company that was formed in 2018 from Honeywell. Their security systems and thermostats quickly became popular, generating a revenue of more than $5.8 billion in 2020.

In case you did not know, the Honeywell Total Connect Comfort app allows users to easily control their thermostats. Users can easily increase or decrease the temperature, schedule thermostats, and view the current temperature.

Having said that, Honeywell Total Connect Comfort users are now reporting (1,2,3,4,5) that the app is not working. In addition to the app, the website also seems to be affected.

Many said they tried clearing cache and app data and reinstalling the app but to no avail. It is a really serious issue since people are unable to control their thermostats remotely.

Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that Honeywell Total Connect Comfort is down or not working.
