Realme is a brand born from OPPO, so in the beginning it used ColorOS custom skin. Later, the company released Realme UI keeping ColorOS as a base, but adding some of its own enhancements.

Realme UI 3.0 is the latest version of the Realme skin, and it uses Android 12 as a base. As with Realme UI 2.0, the new update is expected to be available for many devices in the brand’s portfolio.

The successful Realme GT 5G was the first device of the brand to receive its stable update to Realme UI 3.0. More recently, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition has also been updated in China.

That said, Realme UI 3.0 brings many improvements such as the ‘Fluid Space’ design language, a more customizable Always On Display, improved performance, reduced power consumption and more.

However, sometimes software updates bring a set of bugs or issues that negatively impact the user experience. In fact, Realme device users have already started reporting some bugs that they have been encountering in Realme UI 3.0.

So, we have created this story to keep you informed of new bugs/issues that arise in Realme UI 3.0, along with its current status and potential workarounds (if any).

Currently the Edge lighting feature is not working properly. This option is designed for devices with AMOLED screen, replacing the traditional notification LED by making the edges of the screen light up when a notification arrives.

However, the feature is not working for some users after Realme UI 3.0 update (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11).

Realme GT ME: Edge lighting not working

Hi, Is the edge lighting working on your phones? Would love to have it for Gmail and WhatsApp, however I cannot set it up. Edge lighting is activated in the main settings, but unfortunately no such notifications appear on my screen.

Also, some Realme 8 4G users are facing issues with mobile data network and VoLTE after the update. Data network is automatically disconnected, while VoLTE suddenly stops working (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15).

Volte not working I updated to Realme UI 3.0 C.04 beta version last 10 days ago from the update to today volte working fine but suddenly today afternoon volte working stoped i can’t make calls in jio sim airtel no need volte but jio sim need Volte so pls fix volte in realme 8 Current verion C.04
