Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, Rainbow Six Siege is one of the most competitive online tactical FPS games. It was released back in 2015 with the console edition launched in 2020.

Powered by Ubisoft’s in-house developed AnvilNext 2.0, the game regularly receives new content in the form of operators, balance changes, and cosmetics.

But these updates also cause problems such as the recently reported squad disconnection and ban issue negatively affecting the gameplay experience.

Having said that, Rainbow Six Siege developers shared details about the upcoming season named Demon Veil on Twitch a few weeks ago.

Players were speculating and thought that Ubisoft would start the Rainbow Six Siege Demon Veil season update on March 8, but unfortunately, it has been delayed.

Many are now wondering when the new season would be out and complaining about poor communication on Ubisoft’s part and saying that they were unaware of the news.

Below are some reports from Rainbow Six Siege players complaining about the lack of communication from Ubisoft and the delayed launch of Demon Veil.

No communication at all
Can Ubisoft finally start to communicate? I mean.. they literally deleted every single “8 march” date and didn’t say single thing.. On support they told me “new season will drop the day that we said it will drop unless we say different” but they didn’t announce any date.. + TTS is already offline for like 4 days.. I was hyped for new season but that no communicating is being more and more annoying..

We haven’t had an official announcement whatsoever regarding demon veil since the season was revealed at SI. No release date or anything directly. The test server stopped getting updated. Now the streets are saying the season that we speculated to release tomorrow has been delayed. Why have they been radio silent since the first few days of the season reveal? It’s frustrating, sorry for the rant.

As it turns out, the Marketing Director of Rainbow Six at Ubisoft has commented on the matter and confirmed that the new season will be launched on March 15.

Some players said their excitement has lessened due to the delay. We hope Rainbow Six Siege developers (Ubisoft) get better at communicating with their player base and make announcements prior in case of delays.

That being said, we will be keeping tabs on the matter and update this space when the new season starts so make sure you stay tuned.
