[Updated] COD Warzone Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint not working (unable to use gun), issue acknowledged

COD Warzone is the first battle-royale game on the Call of Duty saga. It has been available since 2020 in a free-to-play format.

Just like other free-to-play games, Warzone developers make money by offering weapon packs, items, skins etc. However, currently some weapons are not working properly.

More specifically, many COD Warzone players are unable to use or equip the Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint weapon (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).

Social platforms like Twitter and Reddit are full of reports related to the issue. The Vargo 52 is an assault rifle inherited from COD: Black Ops Cold War.

Meanwhile, the FerroFluid blueprints is part of the Ferro Fury pack which includes blueprints for a set of weapons and items. Basically, it gives an attractive purple-tinted look to equipment.

But, many COD Warzone players are reporting that the Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint is not working as they are unable to use it after spending money on it.

The Ferro Fury pack that includes the Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint is priced at 2,000 COD Points. Although COD Points can be earned in-game, they are usually not enough to buy expensive packs, so players use real money to speed up the process.

According to some reports, Microsoft is issuing refunds for affected players on Xbox consoles.

Microsoft is issuing refunds on non working bundles Raven won’t fix

Microsoft is aware of all the bundles for WZ Raven has not fixed and is issuing refunds so act now Xbox users.

This includes the Death Bite bundle all Xbox platforms where operator‘s gas mask does not show in WZ and blueprints are incorrect as advertised. This also includes the blueprint for the non working WZ Vargo 52. I sent screenshots and was refunded regardless if they finally fix it or not. Microsoft is aware of this issue with Raven Software.

Microsoft refunds could apply to both the FerroFluid pack and any other ‘broken’ pack. But, there is no official confirmation of this from Microsoft yet.

On the other hand, Raven Software is aware of the issue and they reflect it on their public Trello board. However, there is no estimated arrival date for a fix yet.

01:24 pm (IST): COD: Warzone is getting a new patch from Raven Software that brings a bunch of bug fixes. And while it fixes the reload issue of Vargo 52, the changelog does not mention anything about the FerroFluid blueprint bug.

10:48 am (IST): Raven Software on Twitter has again reminded players that they are actively investigating the issue with Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint.

12:54 pm (IST): Players who are affected by the FerroFluid blueprint issue are now asking (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) Raven Software for compensation or a refund.

04:47 pm (IST): It appears that the players who are affected by Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint issue might not receive any compensation or a refund.

One of our readers, who allegedly got in touch with Microsoft, was told that the players won’t receive any refund because the coins were already redeemed.

05:30 pm (IST): According to Raven Software’s official Trello board, COD: Warzone players will receive a fix for the Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint issue with the update coming on Wednesday.

03:37 pm (IST): Raven Software released a new patch for COD: Warzone with various bug fixes. It also fixed the Vargo 52 FerroFluid blueprint bug.

Fixed an issue where the “FerroFluid” Blueprint was unable to be equipped in-game. (Source)
