New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on January 01, 2022) follows:

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is one of the most popular MOBA games available for mobile devices. Developed and published by Moonton, it was released in 2016.

The 5v5 MOBA is inspired by League of Legends and is one of the most played mobile games in Asia. Unsurprisingly, this turned a lot of heads with ByteDance, the company that developed TikTok, acquiring Moonton for around $4 billion earlier this year.

Thanks to the developers constantly adding new heroes and making balance changes every once in a while, the game feels fresh.

That being said, many iPad users who play Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on their devices are reporting that they are seeing low quality graphics even when the in-game graphics are set to ultra.

It looks like the issue is not limited to a particular iPad model but is affecting several generations of iPad. Players said they tried clearing the cache and even reinstalling the game but the

Reports suggest that the game looks pixelated making it unplayable for many. Mobile Legends players said they tried reporting the bug to Moonton several times but to no avail.

My sister and I noticed a sudden drop in graphic quality in the game. It’s like…you can clearly see the pixels. I am an Ipad pro 12.9-inch use, and my sister uses 10.2 inches. I checked the settings, and everything is same as before. The highest possible quality, but I still see dem pixels. It wasn’t like that before. Has anyone else noticed that?

Everything looks low quality now, with lots of pixelated edges on characters and low details on game models and maps. This has been going on for a week or 2 and I am sick of it. It literally just dropped quality during a ranked draft and has been low resolution ever since. I tried the game on my friend’s iPad Air 3 and it looks like it is the same issue, though her device is not as high performance as mine, I know her game ran perfect at high resolution before. I have uninstalled, cleared cache, checked resource, removed redundant resources… everything. Any suggestions??

Thankfully, a Reddit Moderator for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang said that they have reported the issue to the team. But there is no information on how long users will have to wait before it is fixed.

Hi! I have reported this issue already.

And as if this wasn’t enough, a bunch of iPad users say HD mode is not working for them. Again, this is causing the game graphics and making it unplayable for many.

HD mode does not work for me anymore on iPad Pro 2020. Happened during a ranked draft, and nothing fixes it. Cleared cache, re-installed game, switched all graphics to low and back to ultra. This ever gonna get fixed? I already reported it 5 times last month and it’s not even in to be fixed list.

No and the new update made it FAR WORSE. Now the resolution is even lower than my iPhone SE stretched across a huge screen and stuck with low textures. Looks eyebleedingly awful

Once again, the Moderator shared that they have reported the issue to the concerned team but there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.

Hi! I have reported this issue. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

When Moonton releases a fix for iPad fixing the low quality graphics on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, we will update this space so stay tuned.

Update 1 (March 04)

03:38 pm (IST): Some players have managed to find a workaround for this issue. And if you are still facing it, then you can give it a try and see if it helps.
