Fortnite is the successful Battle Royale developed by Epic Games that you can play for free on many consoles and platforms (including Android and iOS mobile devices).

Epic Games is constantly sending new content to the game to keep players engaged. In recent years, Fortnite has received many character skins from popular video game and movie franchises.

It’s worth pointing out that skins aren’t always just aesthetic as they can also affect gameplay. This is especially noticeable in characters that have iconic weapons or abilities.

For instance, a few weeks ago the game received the Spider-Man skin. One of the character’s best known abilities is to swing around using web-shooters.

That Spider-Man ability is present in Fortnite, giving additional gameplay possibilities. In addition to the above, there are challenges where you must use the skin’s unique abilities to complete them.

However, some issues prevent players from completing those challenges. Currently, the ‘Travel 25 meters with Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters in 3 different neighborhoods’ challenge tracking is broken.

The name of the ‘Travel 25 meters with Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters in 3 different neighborhoods’ challenge is very descriptive and makes it very clear what you need to do to complete it.

But, many players are unable to complete the challenge as the travel tracking doesn’t work properly. That is, travels with Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters in certain neighborhoods are not counting (1, 2).

Anyone having trouble getting credit for the third? I got 2/3 easily, but have swung around Tilted, Greasy, and Sleepy but didn’t receive credit.

@FortniteGame I’ve been trying to do the travel 25 meters with spider man gloves, I’ve traveled 25 meters in every single location marked by the challenge and it says I’m at 2/3 completed. Can you fix this before I go insane?

That said, there are only a couple of zones that are counting for the tracking of the challenge, according to reports. Those zones are ‘Sleepy Sound’ and ‘The Daily Bugle’.

However, the challenge requires you to travel through 3 different neighborhoods using Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters. So, it is currently impossible to complete it until a fix arrives.

There is no official acknowledgment from Epic Games about the issue, but we will update this story if new developments about it arise.

02:19 pm (IST): Fortnite on Twitter has informed players that they have replaced the quest to travel 25 meters with another quest where gamers will just need to collect a Spiderman Web shooter.

Due to an issue with the Amazing Web Week Quest to ‘Travel 25 meters in different neighborhoods,’ we’ve replaced it with ‘Collect a Spider-Man Web Shooter.’ (Source)
